35 years after the Dream started, 2004 saw the passing of well known Master Armorer Charles Jay Bliss III, BLISS Armory was relocated and became ARMORSTUFF. October 7, 2006 Hanford Faire weekend. The armorshop was destroyed as an attached business burned. More than 12 fire trucks battled the huge late night blaze into the early morning hours. We labored for nearly 3 months to salvage water damaged patterns, equipment and tooling from the 2000sq. ft.gutted building. Moving everything to multiple storage units to sort and find what's left. Restoring 30 years of water soaked patterns. Then possibly a new shop in...the future! When that point is achieved... ARMORSTUFF will again ship worthy 21st Century Relics & Custom Pieces to Museums, Collectors, Knights and Jousters around the world. Producing custom-made Armors for Kings, Knights, Combatants, Actors and Collectors for over 30 years in "blue" and "white" harness for Soldier through "Presentation" grades has always been and will always be our desire. Like many armors, ARMORSTUFF is designed to look good..... Unlike some other armors, ARMORSTUFF focuses on Form and Function, Safety and Wear-ability. This armor can be used for Staged Combat, LARP or other types of entertainment. All Armorstuff armor is custom built to the highest standards in any style or time period. Each individual piece is formed and finished by hand, in steel, with careful attention to weight and balance. Every piece is as functional as the original of past centuries, as such, copies are constructed to your measurements. Our armors are made to fit & built to be worn. This is REAL Metal Body Armor made in the styles and fashions of Medieval and Renaissance Armors of times past. These are newly produced Armors, hand made in America from modern Mild and Stainless Steels, enabling the wearers of these suits to safely participate in live action events with stage or authentic weapons.
